What Baseball Means to Me

There are many things in life that get me to smile. Baseball is one of those things. It's not just a game. It's my love, my life, my passion.  Watching the game is one thing. But actually playing the game can turn your world upside down.
Life throws you curveballs in both greatness and sadness.  Yet, when you're on the field, you feel that rush, that exciting feeling that just comes over you; feeling the game in your heart, your soul, your mind. Seeing it with your eyes.  Pushing everything you have to take it to the next level, focusing on what matters most and listening to your first thought.  Breathing in and exhaling, as the word "baseball" finds a way out of your mouth.
Just like Isaiah 54:17 says, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper...". For me this means to not let anything get in my way with baseball and most importantly, my Lord and Savior.   People know I live and breathe baseball. Yet the bigger question is what means the most to me?  The feeling of baseball is like no other to me. But the feeling of having Jesus Christ is the greatest thing I could ever ask for.
Have your own field of dreams. Make it the way you want it to be.
Think, Relax, Plan, and Believe.  Work hard.  Focus for the love of the game, for the love of life.
"I will strengthen you and help you.  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10).

Baseball, I just can’t get enough of it.
